| How to Procure Data from EIC’s Repository of GIS data on India? |
STEP 1: IDENTIFY YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL DATA REQUIREMENTS
GIS Data Samples of the Datasets available at EIC have been illustrated in the “Datasets at EIC” section of the Website
The illustrated Datasets present a broad outline of wide ranged usage possibilities of the spatial environmental data at EIC
The varied applications of the spatial environmental data sets are ever-expanding, hence, if you find that your requirement is not listed, please do send us your requirement in the Modifications section (Section 7) of the Data Request Form. Alternatively you can e-mail the same to eicinfo@ecosmartindia.com. We will customise the dataset as per your requirement at no extra cost
STEP 2: SEND EIC YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL DATA REQUIREMENT
Send EIC your data requirement through the Data Request Form
The Data Request Forms, specifies the type of data that is provided under each data category. We realise that your needs could be specific, hence, if you need additional data or modification in the data to suit your requirement, please fill up the Modification Section (Section 7) of the form
Please try to provide as much information as you can on the project site to assist us in getting an accurate location of your site and to enable us in giving costs
There is a facility for you to attach files - documents / maps. This gives you the provision to elaborate your data requirement further

STEP 3: RECEIVE A QUOTATION FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL DATA REQUIREMENT
The cost quotation for the data will be sent to you within 3 Working Days from the date of receipt of your Data Request Form
STEP 4: PLACE THE ORDER
To confirm your purchase on receiving the cost quotation for your requirement and on agreement of the data description:
a. Fill the Work Order on line
b. Print the filled Work Order and the attached Declaration available on line
c. Sign the hard copy of the attached Declaration. The Work Order shall be considered
invalid without signatures
d. Mail the three requisites
i. Work Order Form
ii. Signed Declaration
iii. Cheque / Demand Draft in favour of "Ecosmart India Limited A/C EIC
