EIC is constantly widening its database. Your data needs can be conveyed to EIC through the Data Request Form or alternatively you can e-mail / fax(+91-11-2412 2490) your needs.

To help EIC serve your needs better

a.  Convey your area of interest in as much detail as possible through:

1. Latitude –Longitude of the spread of the study area
2. State:

b. Specify the Data –layers (subjects) required

c. Give a brief description of the project to help EIC understand the application of the data

d. Specify clearly the format that EIC should convey the Data to your organization. EIC can also provide a front-end programme to help you to derive complete benefits from the GIS based database, without GIS expertise

2. Is the database at EIC limited to select geographic areas?

No, EIC has a diverse networking and can provide data for any area in the Country. If the database, for a required area is not presently available, EIC can develop the data in a format and to the detail required by the user at no extra cost.

3.What is the time frame that EIC can provide the data in?

The provision of data is dependent on the requirement of detail in the database as well as the scope of work.

4. What is the cost of data?

EIC is a not for profit organisation . The cost of the data is nominal and dependent on the area to be covered and thus, is case specific. Once, the data requirement is conveyed to EIC the cost will be provided within 2 working days.
